Kentucky has produced countless music, film and theatre stars who have made it to the Billboard Music Charts, Broadway and Hollywood.

The culture of each community is shaped by the arts. The Big Sandy Region in the Mountains shares Kentucky's legacy of talent which has created a distinct culture here. New generations of Eastern Kentuckians are now entrusted to steward this rich tradition.

Mountain Movers Theatre Company values the dignity, diversity and talents of every individual. Inherent in each person created in God's image is great worth and abilities. We desire to help new generations of Kentuckians discover their destinies and provide a platform for them to pursue their artistic passions and live their dreams.

Celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Garden Theater by becoming a show sponsor which helps us cover the costs of productions, costumes, props, sets, lighting, and orchestras.

No matter skill set or age we provide a place to express yourself. Through our two week camps, kids get to witness how musical theatre is built from the ground up.

The Garden Theater

All shows take place at the historic Garden Theater, a vintage movie house in downtown Louisa. In 2019, the theater was purchased and refurbished, and now has resumed its rightful place as a lively gathering place.
